Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Care
What to Expect: After a deep tissue massage you may experience any of the following: mild muscle soreness (similar to how you feel after a workout), temporary stiffness and fatigue, improved range of motion and reduced muscle tension, increased awareness of areas that were particularly tight, mild redness or warmth in treated areas, slight lightheadedness immediately following your appointment. These symptoms typically improve within 24–72 hours. Everyone responds differently. Some people feel immediate relief, while others notice gradual improvement over the next few days.
DO'S
- DO stay hydrated following your massage to support metabolic waste clearance.
- DO keep moving. Light walking or gentle stretching can help reduce stiffness and maintain mobility.
- DO take a warm Epsom salt bath in the evening to soothe muscle fibers.
DON'TS
- DON'T engage in strenuous physical activity or heavy gym sessions for at least 12-24 hours post-massage.
- DON'T consume heavy alcohol immediately after deep tissue work.
