What to Expect: Mild soreness, tenderness, redness, petechiae (small red dots), or bruising in the treated area following Graston ® or IASTM are common and temporary. These effects typically resolve within 24-72 hours. You may also notice temporary stiffness, followed by gradual improvements in mobility, flexibility, and comfort over the next several days.

DO'S

  • DO stay hydrated to assist soft tissue remodeling.
  • DO perform gentle active mobility exercises through your newly gained range of motion.

DON'TS

  • DON'T participate in high-impact or strenuous activities immediately after treatment.
  • DON'T aggressively pick, scrub, or massage areas displaying light surface petechiae or redness.
