Chiropractic Care

Chiropractor applying spinal adjustment to a patient lying face down

What to Expect: Post-Adjustment Sensation: Immediate relief in tension and improvement in mobility that may be accompanied by mild tenderness around the treated area. Mild fatigue or tiredness after adjustment is common as your nervous system recalibrates.

DO'S

  • DO keep moving! Gentle mobility helps with post-treatment soreness.
  • DO apply an ice pack (wrapped in a thin towel) for 10 minutes if you feel acute localized joint soreness.

DON'TS

  • DON'T participate in heavy lifting or high-impact exercise immediately after your treatment.
  • DON'T self-adjust between visits.
