Jessica completed both her Masters of Physical Therapy and Bachelors of Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her main goal is to find and treat the root cause of injuries and dysfunctions to promote independence through empowering her clients with the right tools and knowledge for optimal movement.
As a Registered Physical Therapist, she is devoted to lifelong learning and frequently updates her knowledge to improve her practice through continuing education. Since graduation, she has gone through extensive post-graduate training which has led her to gain certifications in Functional Dry Needling/IMS, Fascial Manipulation® levels 1 & 2, ELDOA levels 1-2, and K-taping. She is currently completing her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Additionally, she has taken a variety of courses including Myofascial Stretching, Soft Tissue Release, Mulligan Concept, and Discover the Body Anatomy at UBC.
Jessica believes in living a balanced, healthy, and active lifestyle and is dedicated to practicing what she preaches. Outside the clinic, you can find her at CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, yoga, hiking, snowboarding, running along the seawall with her smiley Samoyed, chasing after her two daughters, or simply enjoying a delicious meal at the newest restaurant in the city. Jessica welcomes people of all levels of physical ability who aim to decrease symptoms, improve function and quality of life, get back to doing what they love to do, and learn more about their body.
